Passengers aboard Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas say their vacation was upended when a group of livestreamers wreaked havoc onboard and were ultimately escorted off the ship mid-cruise. The streamers allegedly spent days filming guests without consent, provoking families, and fighting on deck.
According to a Cruise Hive report, two content creators, identified as David Ryan and Dave Willis, were removed from the ship after a late-night altercation turned physical. The streamers were apparently removed while the ship was docked in Roatán, Honduras.
Videos shared online show the men throwing punches near the pool deck with their camera gear clattering across the floor. Other disruptive moments from earlier in the cruise, including shouting matches and inappropriate filming, have also surfaced on Reddit, such as the clip below.
Apparently, the pool deck confrontation stemmed from an argument over another streamer. The two were reportedly fighting after a night of heavy drinking and public filming.
According to guests onboard, security intervened and confined the pair until the ship reached port, where they were ordered to disembark and make their own way home.
One passenger later posted on Facebook, “We saw them with luggage and security, on the phone trying to find cheaper flights. Play stupid games, get stupid prizes.”

Harmony of the Seas is currently sailing a 7-night Western Caribbean itinerary. The Oasis class vessel departed from Galveston, Texas, on November 2, 2025, and is scheduled to return on November 9, 2025.
The voyage includes port calls in Roatán, Honduras; Costa Maya, Mexico; and Cozumel, Mexico, with several sea days in between.
“We did not come here to be pulled into someone’s livestream drama”

Unfortunately, the fight was only the culmination of several uncomfortable days for Royal Caribbean guests who say the streamers repeatedly harassed travelers for content.
In the cruise’s Facebook group, one father wrote that a streamer made an inappropriate gesture to his children while filming. He wrote:
“My children were confused and unsettled. We came here for a holiday. We did not come here to be pulled into someone’s livestream drama.”
“We spent months looking forward to this trip, and suddenly I was having to explain to my kids why someone would act that way in public. It’s not the kind of memory you want to take home from a cruise.”
Other cruisers described being filmed in elevators, shouted at on the Boardwalk, and woken by prank knocks on decorated cabin doors.
One woman wrote, “We were trapped in an elevator with three grown men fighting and filming while we had a six-month-old baby with us. They made us feel unsafe.”
Many passengers described the behavior as loud, intrusive, and disrespectful, creating a tense environment for those simply trying to enjoy their vacation.
The streamers were escorted off the ship by security

Many guests were complaining online about the streamers’ unruly behavior. By mid-week, photos circulated in passenger groups appearing to show several men with luggage being escorted down a corridor toward a crew area.
“Just saw them being escorted off! Thank goodness!” one guest posted.
“One of them was kicked off the ship today. We saw him with his luggage and security. He was on the phone trying to find cheaper options home, as some of the flights were thousands of dollars. His girlfriend is still on the ship because they couldn’t afford multiple tickets,” wrote another.

“Thank God we can just drink our Bahama Mamas in peace,” another relieved cruiser wrote. “They ruined my trip when one of those guys knocked on my door at 3 a.m. just because someone put a pineapple sticker on it.”
Many people commented with relief that the streamers were removed from Harmony of the Seas. Some claimed the group was connected to controversial streamer Ice Poseidon, though Royal Caribbean has not confirmed any affiliations.

Royal Caribbean’s Guest Conduct Policy explicitly prohibits “abusive, discourteous, or disruptive behavior” and consequences can include loss of privileges, confinement, or removal.
The cruise line has not publicly commented, but passengers say Guest Services confirmed the individuals were disembarked for violating onboard rules.
What is a streamer?

In case you aren’t familiar, a streamer is someone who broadcasts live video online in real time, often through platforms like Kick, Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok Live. Many streamers film themselves constantly with portable cameras and microphones as they interact with an online audience that comments and donates money during the broadcast.
Some focus on gaming or travel content, but others, known as IRL (In Real Life) streamers, film their everyday interactions in public.
This can include dining, sightseeing, or, in this case, walking around a cruise ship. The goal is to entertain and gain followers, but the format often blurs boundaries when streamers film strangers without consent or deliberately provoke reactions to boost engagement.
In this instance, passengers say the Harmony of the Seas streamers crossed that line.
