When Celebrity Cruises first introduced the Solstice Class, it helped redefine modern premium cruising. Now, the brand is giving one of its most popular ships a fresh new spotlight.
With a renewed focus on immersive travel and elevated onboard living, Celebrity Cruises relaunches Celebrity Solstice with eight new experiences designed to blend contemporary style, destination inspiration, and guest-favorite comforts.

Following her 45-day refurbishment in Singapore, Celebrity Solstice is emerging with a refreshed look and several new upgrades. Here’s a closer look at everything that was added or enhanced during her recent makeover.
A fresh chapter for Celebrity Solstice
The newly updated Celebrity Solstice reemerges with enhancements that touch everything from dining and entertainment to relaxation and design. While the ship has long been known for its airy layout and refined aesthetic, these additions give returning guests new reasons to step aboard.
At the heart of the relaunch are eight distinct experiences crafted to feel modern, immersive, and thoughtfully curated. Rather than overwhelming the ship with flashy overhauls, Celebrity has focused on upgrades that align with its premium branding.
Elevated culinary experiences
Dining has always been central to the Celebrity brand, and the refreshed Solstice takes that reputation a step further.
Two of the biggest additions are part of the ship’s dining revamp. Trattoria Rossa, a new concept for Celebrity Cruises, brings Roman and Southern Italian dishes onboard. The new specialty restaurant will feature house-made pastas and classic recipes served with a bit of tableside flair that gives the space a warm, old-world feel.
Joining it is Fine Cut Steakhouse, a Forbes Travel Guide-rated favorite from the Edge Series. The specialty venue is celebrated for its 30-day dry-aged steaks and premium fresh seafood. Together, these two venues elevate the ship’s dining scene with a mix of rustic Italian charm and modern steakhouse sophistication
Specialty venues have been enhanced to create more intimate atmospheres, while main dining spaces incorporate updated menus and contemporary presentations. Celebrity’s main goal was to transform the ship’s dining venues into an experience rather than just a meal.
A new top-deck escape
Celebrity Solstice has unveiled Sunset Park, a new open-air venue at the top of the ship designed for relaxing, socializing, and soaking in ocean views.
The space offers activities like yoga, lawn games, and live music with comfortable seating and sweeping views of the ship’s wake. Private cabanas will provide shaded retreats with dedicated attendants, giving the area a resort-style feel.
Dining is built into the experience as well. The new Sunset Park Café serves casual breakfast items like pastries, sandwiches, and quiches, followed by salads, wraps, and charcuterie boards at lunch. Nearby, the expanded Sunset Bar pours handcrafted cocktails, making it an ideal spot to unwind as the sun sets.
Reimagined entertainment & social spaces
Entertainment takes center stage aboard Celebrity Solstice with several dynamic new additions designed to keep evenings lively and varied.
The all-new Boulevard Lounge and The Parlor introduce flexible social spaces that shift effortlessly from relaxed to high-energy throughout the night. Guests can gather for piano bar singalongs, test their vocal skills during karaoke, or unwind over craft cocktails while catching a game.
With billiards tables and a more intimate, club-like atmosphere, these venues create a casual yet stylish setting that encourages mingling and spontaneous fun, whether you’re starting the evening or making it your final stop.
In the main theatre, two original productions bring fresh theatrical flair to the lineup. Smoke and Ivories transports audiences back to the 1950s, blending live vocals, high-energy choreography, and acrobatics in a nostalgic celebration of classic sounds.
Meanwhile, Rockumentary takes guests on a journey through the decades, recreating iconic rock performances with powerful vocals, multimedia effects, and a concert-style atmosphere. Together, the new shows add depth and variety to the entertainment program, balancing retro charm with arena-level excitement.
Wellness with a modern twist
Wellness continues to be a defining pillar for Celebrity Cruises, and the Solstice relaunch reflects that commitment. Guests will find enhanced spa offerings, expanded fitness programming, and tranquil areas meant to balance busy port days with restorative downtime.
The ship’s signature adults-only Solarium remains a favorite, offering a peaceful retreat filled with natural light and calming water features — a space many loyal guests return to time and again.
A design that feels both familiar and new
One of the strengths of the Solstice Class has always been its architectural openness and understated elegance.
Celebrity Solstice now features fully upgraded staterooms across the ship, along with 54 new cabins, bringing the total to 1,479 and introducing four new categories. AquaClass has added spa-inspired touches like aromatherapy diffusers and upgraded shower features, while The Retreat now includes an enhanced sundeck, larger hot tub, and a redesigned private lounge.
The refreshed interiors maintain that recognizable feel while incorporating updated textures, lighting, and design elements that create a brighter, more contemporary ambiance.
