Whether you’re sailing with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, or Carnival Cruise Line, you’ll find most of these cocktails available at the various bars onboard.
Piña Colada
Creamy, sweet, and oh-so-tropical, the piña colada is a classic cruise cocktail made with rum, coconut cream, and pineapple. Ask for a dark rum floater and top it off with cherries for extra flair.
Miami Vice
Why choose between a piña colada and a strawberry daiquiri when you can have both? A Miami Vice is a frozen swirl of the two, making it a perfect drink for indecisive cruisers.
Lava Flow
A Lava Flow is similar to a Miami Vice, which includes a blend of strawberry, coconut, and pineapple flavors with light rum and coconut rum. Some Lava Flows even include banana flavoring.
Strawberry Daiquiri (or any kind of daiquiri!)
Served frozen and loaded with strawberries and rum, this sweet, fruity daiquiri is a vacation favorite, especially by the pool.
Bailey’s Banana Colada (BBC)
Often called a BBC, the Baileys Banana Colada typically includes Bailey’s Irish Cream, Banana liqueur, cream of coconut, and light rum. This is one of my personal favorites!
Mudslide
Craving something rich and creamy? This adult milkshake features vodka, Kahlúa, and Bailey’s Irish Cream, usually blended with cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. The perfect dessert drink!
Mojito
Refreshing and light, mojitos are made with fresh mint, lime juice, rum, and club soda. Add a fruity twist, like strawberry or mango, to mix things up during your cruise.
Espresso Martini
Ideal for post-dinner sipping, the espresso martini is made with vodka, Kahlúa, espresso, and a little simple syrup. It’s a great pick-me-up for a night of onboard entertainment… just not before bed.
Rum Punch
No tropical vacation is complete without a rum punch. Made with light and dark rum, pineapple, orange, lime, and a splash of grenadine, this fruity favorite is served on the rocks.
Bahama Mama
A sweet and boozy mix of white rum, dark rum, grenadine, pineapple juice, and citrus, the Bahama Mama is a staple in any cruise ship bar.
Blue Hawaiian
Bright blue and irresistibly fruity, this drink combines rum, blue curaçao, pineapple juice, and coconut cream for a beachy beverage that tastes as fun as it looks.
Amaretto Sour
This sweet and tangy cocktail combines amaretto, lemon juice, and simple syrup, often topped with an egg white foam for a creamy texture. Add a cherry for that signature garnish.
