Why Royal Caribbean introduced themed menus in the Main Dining Room

In early 2023, Royal Caribbean made one of its biggest dining changes in years by introducing fully themed menus in the Main Dining Room.

Instead of offering “classic” options every night, Royal Caribbean shifted to a rotating lineup of globally inspired menus (like French, Italian, Caribbean, and Mexican), with each evening centered around a specific cuisine. The themes usually align with the cruise itinerary you’re on.

According to Royal Caribbean, this update streamlined Main Dining Room operations, leading to faster service and a more consistent dining experience.
