One of the hidden gems aboard Celebrity Cruises’ Edge Class ships is Eden Café, a complimentary grab-and-go eatery serving fresh breakfast and lunch in one of the ship’s most beautiful spaces.
Located on Deck 5 inside the stunning three-story Eden venue, Eden Café offers a selection of made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, fresh salads, paninis, pastries, soups, and other light bites throughout the day.

It’s one of my favorite places on Edge Class ships to grab lunch or breakfast, as it’s far more relaxing than other venues onboard. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the ocean, creating a bright and relaxing atmosphere that’s perfect for enjoying a casual meal away from the busier Oceanview Café buffet.
Eden Café is currently available on Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Beyond, and Celebrity Ascent. On Celebrity Xcel, Eden Café has been replaced with Spice Cafe, located within The Bazaar.
Is Eden Café free?

It’s important not to confuse Eden Café with Eden Restaurant. Although both are located within the same venue, they’re completely different dining experiences.
Eden Café is complimentary and included in your cruise fare, while Eden Restaurant is a specialty restaurant that serves an upscale, multi-course dinner for an additional charge or as part of a specialty dining package.
While nearly everything on the menu is included with your cruise fare, Eden Café also offers a few premium sandwiches for an additional charge, including the Prime Rib Sandwich ($11), Spaniard Bocata ($11), and Boston Style Lobster Roll ($17).
Eden Café Hours

Eden Café typically serves breakfast daily from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. On sea days, the venue also reopens for lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., offering a quieter alternative to the buffet with freshly prepared sandwiches, salads, handhelds, soups, and rotating daily specialties.
Breakfast features pastries, oatmeal, fruit, breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and the venue’s signature glazed cinnamon roll.

At lunch, guests can choose from fresh salads, paninis, sandwiches, handhelds, and a daily carving station. Salads can be customized with a variety of toppings and dressings, while sandwiches and paninis are freshly prepared to order.

Why you shouldn’t miss Eden Café

If you’re sailing on Celebrity’s Edge Class ships, Eden Café is one of the best complimentary dining venues onboard. Its peaceful atmosphere, ocean views, and freshly prepared menu make it an excellent alternative to the larger Oceanview Café buffet, especially if you’re looking for a quieter place to enjoy breakfast or lunch.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick breakfast before heading ashore or stopping in for a freshly made sandwich on a sea day, Eden Café offers a variety of lighter fare that’s included in your cruise fare.
While a few premium sandwiches are available for an additional charge, nearly everything on the menu is complimentary, making this hidden gem well worth adding to your cruise dining plans.
