I recently traveled to Orlando for a concert, and I was thrilled to be invited for a stay at the newly renovated Inn at Celebration, Autograph Collection.
Nestled along Lake Rianhard in the storybook town of Celebration, Florida, the property finds the perfect balance of small-town charm with modern luxury.
Following a multimillion dollar renovation, the upscale, boutique hotel was the perfect place to spend the night while I was in town.

This was also my first visit to Celebration, although I have been wanting to visit for years. And as a longtime fan of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, I couldn’t wait to experience this quaint hotel in one of Florida’s most picturesque towns.
If you’ve never been, Celebration is one of Central Florida’s most charming towns. Originally founded by The Walt Disney Company in the 1990s, it was designed to embody the ideals of community living with walkable streets, lakeside parks, and a friendly, nostalgic atmosphere.

Located just five minutes from Walt Disney World, it’s a convenient location for travelers wanting a quiet reprieve from the bustling Disney crowds.
In addition, Celebration is a great pre- or post-cruise stay for those sailing from Port Canaveral, which is just about an hour’s drive away. If you’re hoping to visit the theme parks before or after your cruise, I highly recommend The Inn at Celebration, Autograph Collection for your stay.

The Inn’s recent renovation was spearheaded by Vision Hospitality Group, which acquired the property in 2022. The company’s CEO, Mitch Patel, shared that their vision was to “preserve its classic architectural charm while enhancing the guest experience with modern amenities, sophisticated design, and full-service offerings.”

The result is a stunning 115-room property, including 23 suites, with many rooms offering lake views. Other enhancements include:
- A redesigned lobby with panoramic lake vistas
- A state-of-the-art fitness center overlooking the water
- Over 7,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space
- Expanded outdoor dining and lounge areas ideal for sunset gatherings
Strong first impressions with a warm welcome

From the moment we arrived at The Inn at Celebration, the experience was seamless. Valet service was quick, courteous, and accommodating by parking our vehicle. Check-in only took a few minutes, which was welcomed after a long drive from the Florida Panhandle.
Upon arrival, the welcoming front desk staff greeted us with two bottles of chilled water. These small gestures set the tone for the personalized service that defines the property.

My first impressions were very positive, as the lobby was both elegant and cozy, with neutral tones, comfortable seating, and sunset views over Lake Rianhard.
The space exudes what Vision Hospitality Group calls the “living room of Celebration,” a concept that came directly from the design team at Baskervill, the firm behind the hotel’s redesign.

“Our goal was to make this hotel the ‘living room’ of Celebration—a warm and welcoming space for both locals and visitors,” said Elaina Lackaye, Design Director at Baskervill.
“Inspired by the surrounding landscape, we incorporated natural materials and an indoor-outdoor design to seamlessly blend the hotel with its scenic environment.”
One of the lobby’s most unique features is the library wall, where guests can browse, borrow, or even contribute a book during their stay. This detail perfectly exemplifies the sense of community that Celebration is known for, and there are cozy chairs where you can sit down, relax, and read your book.
Stunning rooms with lakeside views

Our third-floor room featured two double beds and a private balcony overlooking both the lake and the restaurant terrace below. The decor captured a balance of modern luxury and Floridian comfort, a mix of tan, gray, and sea-glass blue tones. I loved the dark green accent wall.

From marble-topped tables to polished brass accents and elegant lighting, the space felt sophisticated, yet relaxed and comfortable. The thoughtful layout provided plenty of room to unpack and settle in, even for a short one-night stay.

The bathroom was especially well-appointed, with marble flooring and lemon-scented bath products that rivaled a luxury resort.
Normally I pack my own toiletries, but I found myself reaching for the hotel’s provided line, as the products were fresh, fragrant, and high-quality.

Connectivity was another notable feature of our room. There were ample charging ports and outlets conveniently placed near the nightstands. This made it easy to charge our devices each evening.
Dining at Lakeside Kitchen & Bar

Our dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, Lakeside Kitchen & Bar, was a highlight of our experience while staying at The Inn at Celebration, Autograph Collection. It’s definitely one of the best meals I’ve ever had at any hotel restaurant!

Lakeside Kitchen & Bar is Celebration’s only waterfront dining destination with indoor and outdoor seating. The setting is casual yet refined, with windows overlooking the lake and a spacious outdoor patio ideal for sunset cocktails.

We started the evening with two handcrafted drinks, including a passionfruit martini and a tropical berry mojito. Both drinks were strong and refreshing, which was a great way to start our meal.
The menu focuses on fresh, seasonal ingredients, and our entrees did not disappoint. I ordered the steak, while others in my group tried the BBQ ribs, chicken schnitzel, and brisket sandwich.

The ribs were the group favorite, as the meat was tender, smoky, and falling off the bone. The schnitzel was golden and crisp, served with a bright lemon-caper sauce. We ended the evening with a key lime tart, beautifully presented and just the right balance of tart and sweet.

We all enjoyed our upscale meal at the hotel’s restaurant. It far exceeded our expectations. Our server, Simona, was exceptional with her warm and attentive service. She certainly elevated the experience during our dinner.
Breakfast on the lake

The following morning, we returned to the restaurant for breakfast, this time opting for the outdoor patio to fully enjoy the lake views. The menu offered something for everyone, from lighter options to hearty classics. Titanium Elite Marriott members receive a $20 off voucher per room to apply for breakfast.

I ordered the custard-dipped French toast with Grand Marnier syrup, and it was phenomenal. The French toast was fluffy on the inside and golden on the outside with just the right touch of citrus sweetness. I loved the orange whipped cream and fresh berries.

Others in the group enjoyed pancakes, omelets, and a classic American breakfast. Each dish was plated beautifully and served piping hot. Combined with a gentle lake breeze, fresh coffee, and morning sun, it was the perfect way to start our day.
Exploring picturesque Celebration, Florida

After breakfast, we spent the morning exploring the town. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Celebration’s Town Center, making it easy to explore during our stay.
Celebration’s walkable streets are lined with charming boutiques, shaded walking paths, and cafes. We were lucky enough to visit during the farmers market on Sunday. The market was filled with fresh produce, local crafts, and live music, making for a lovely morning.

The Corpus Christi Catholic Church is just a short drive away, and this was a lovely place to visit before checkout for Sunday mass. It was packed with locals and visitors alike, so be sure to arrive early for parking and seating.
Everything about Celebration feels peaceful and intentional. You can tell the community still holds on to its Disney-designed idealism, but with a very real sense of belonging.
I highly recommend The Inn at Celebration, Autograph Collection

After experiencing The Inn at Celebration, Autograph Collection firsthand, I am already wanting to plan another trip back. The hotel wasn’t just a place to sleep, as it’s a destination within itself with a focus on relaxation, refinement, and small-town Florida charm.
The Inn at Celebration would be a great choice for anyone seeking a tranquil escape near Orlando’s biggest attractions or cruisers looking for a relaxing stopover before or after a Port Canaveral itinerary.
The renovated hotel at Celebration offers everything you’d expect from a Marriott Autograph Collection property with comfort, character, and thoughtful hospitality that makes every stay feel personal.
Note: I was invited by The Inn at Celebration, Autograph Collection, to experience the property firsthand. This review reflects my honest impressions and independent opinions.
